Scenic Model Work
I love the detail work required to create an excellent model.
Precision, ingenuity, and art coming together to communicate the intensions of the scenic designer.

Replication of the eastern parlor wall of Thomas Jefferson's Monticello.
Final Model. Measures approximately 11" x 11".
Window is a cut of gel (Rosco 119) framed with balsa, and various widths of string for muntin bars.
Portraits are the highest quality image I could discover of the actual paintings. In retrospect I would have researched similar period portraits for a higher quality, used better glue to prevent wrinkles, and created frames out of balsa.
