Wendy A. Huber is a magna cum laude graduate of University Wisconsin- Green Bay with a BA in Technical Theatre and Design; earning the Alumni Association’s Outstanding Student Award and a Chancellor’s Leadership Medallion upon graduation. The capstone to her undergrad experience was stage managing Cabaret, the largest production produced by UWGB in ten years. Entailing a company of over a hundred, and opening in the magnificent 2,000 seat Weidner Center for Performing Arts.
Primary facets of her theatre work include properties design, stage management, and scenic painting. Wendy is currently delighted to be working with Children's Theatre of Madison as their season props director, on staff at St. Norbert College, and is looking forward to what the summer brings.
Post-graduation in the Green Bay area Wendy enjoyed Stage Managing the Nutcracker Ballet with NEWDO, A Chorus Line and Les Misérables with St. Norbert Summer Music Theatre, Props Designing Seussical Jr. with Birder Studio, and a Scenic Design (Crimes of the Heart) for her alma mater. In a recent journey to Colorado Springs Wendy had the opportunity of running wardrobe for the spring season at The Fine Arts Center of Colorado Springs.
She has enjoyed a production internship with Peninsula Players, and teaching with various children’s theatre companies. Wendy’s other passions include gardening, photography, and teaching women to use power tools.
